Industry Trends contains a distribution of the traffic share for up to 10 chosen domains in the selected category, time frame, and country. The data is based on an index of the top 100 websites within the chosen category (or Custom Category). The category share can be filtered by all traffic, desktop traffic, or mobile traffic.
It is recommended to create a custom category to monitor personal market share within an exact industry.

Rank: Website traffic rank based on the number of monthly unique visitors together with the number of page views across desktop and mobile traffic.
Monthly Visits: Sum of all visits (non-unique, desktop & mobile) per month.
Desktop vs Mobile: Percent of incoming traffic from desktop vs. mobile web.

To understand the shift in traffic share by % or # toggle between the two icons at the top of the graph. The user can then further refine the view to Day, Week, or Monthly view, depending on the time frame selected. This will allow the user to identify changes or shifts in the traffic share for specific sites, and understand the current trends of the industry.
