Search ads capture search engine advertisements that were identified as sources of traffic to the analyzed domains within the chosen time frame.
The Top Search Ads page is an ideal way to analyze the nature of search engine ads that drives traffic to your analyzed sites. Afterward, you can see how your search traffic ads compare to your competitor(s) by toggling between them and seeing the difference in positioning and attributed keywords. Remember, if a competitor ad has additional keywords attributed to it, consider matching them in yours.
You can search for any keyword and see every search ad variation to uncover your competitors' ad strategies.
From Marketing Intelligence > Keyword Research > Analyze Keywords, enter a keyword or existing keyword list you would like to analyze.
From the left menu, select Top Search Ads.
You can see:
Position: Average position of the advert on the SERP.
Note: This page analyses one website at a time. You can filter by website at the top of the results table. In addition, you have the option to show/hide columns of the results table and download to excel.
