Clicks is a hybrid module combining the clicks data from our contributory network and our CTR model, providing estimations to a wide coverage of clicks overall keyword-url pairs.
There's a difference between search clicks and visits...
Clicks: These represent individual instances when a user clicks on a search result link to go to a site. Each click from Google to the site is counted separately, even within the same session.
Visits (or sessions): These measure the number of times a site was visited within a 30-minute period. Multiple clicks within this timeframe are counted as a single visit.
For example, if a user searches multiple times and clicks on your site's link each time within 30 minutes, it would count as multiple clicks but only one visit. This distinction helps us understand user behavior more accurately.
